PyroTube.com For Sale



It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I write this, PyroTube.com is for sale. Due to the demands of my "real" job (electrical/construction) and financial requirements of my personal life I 1) do not have the time to continue serving customers as they have been and should be and 2) need to cash out.



What this sale includes:

1) The domain name (currently registered until 7/16/2008).

2) All website code and related graphics (i.e. the actual webpages themselves and product images, not including images of me, Nelson). Website comes up on the first page of Google search for many pyrotechnic search strings.

3) A list of my current and also potential suppliers: fuse, tubes (both spiral and parallel), plugs, plastic shells etc.

4) Support after the sale to explain how I run the website, LEGAL shipping, order processing, shipping supplies, how to pack and ship orders etc. Basically I will help you after the sale (over the phone and through e-mails) until you get the swing of it, so you know how to run the business yourself and take care of the customers as they should be.

5) A simple machine for rolling nichrome (it's not pretty but works very well).

6) A loyal customer base.

7) Remaining quantities of all the products on the Novelties page.

8) An estimate of cost for full stock of all items offered on the website, minus novelties (I can order all of this for you and have it shipped to you for the cost of the items and their shipping, i.e. I will not put money on top of the cost of the merchandise or actual S&H, so you can be up and running faster).

9) This sale may or maynot include the PayPal account (I have to figure this out with PayPal).



What this sale DOES NOT include:

1) Any of my stock of fuse, tubes, endplugs or nichrome wire (basically any of the products for sale on the website, with the exception of remaining stock of novelties).

2) Anything not included in the "What this sale includes" section.



What you will need:

1) Additional monies for merchandise stock.

2) Website hosting (about $100 per year).

3) Knowledge of HTML, making and maintaining websites.

4) PayPal account or Merchant account for accepting payments online.

5) Shopping cart (I pay $100 per year for mine).

6) Become approved for shipping fuse with USPS (I will explain how to obtain this).

7) Postage scales (one the weighs up to ~30 to 50lbs +/- 2g accuracy and a jewelers scale that is accurate to .1g, cost for both scales should not exceed $100, can be had on eBay for short money).

8) Time.

9) Ambition and a love of pyrotechnics.



Website facts:

1) The website averages 2000 Sites per month, 2240 visits per month and 32,966 hits per month (higher during prime month(s).

2) High ranking on Google, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL, Ask Jeeves, AltaVista and others for pyrotechnic search threads.

3) Has the ability to be taken to the next level, AKA if you want you could turn it into a full time job if you wanted to. Website has excellent exposure and a relatively well known name.

I have put 3 years of my life, thousands of dollars and endless hours of research and programming into this website. Again this website has the ability to go to the next level, all it requires is someone with the time, money and interest.

For a $500 non-refundable deposit (if you purchase the website the $500 will be deducted from the price), I will mail you 17 pages of gross sales for the period of 1/1/2006 to 1/1/2007 and an estimate of the cost for the restocking of all products for sale on the website.

Please bear in mind that the gross sales from 1/1/2006 to 1/1/2007 do not include any transactions from June 23 2006 to October 31 2006 because the website was closed due to problems in my personal life. I only mention this because I (unfortunately) had to close the website during some of the peak selling months, which makes the one year of gross sales income seem (what I believe to be) a lot lower than what they could have been. Even so I am only asking for approximately 1/3 of what the website's gross income was from 1/1/2006 to 1/1/2007.
