3-2-2007 Happy belated new year. 1/8" visco is back in stock, as are 3/4" endplugs. I'm still working on the 1/4" tube, my supplier informed me that they were out of the color I wanted (gloss red) and that they would have it back instock in one to two weeks... bummer for me and you. So I should have those in stock again in 3 to 4 weeks. Also I have 3" pre-cut 1/8" visco on the way, should be instock in about a week. 11-1-2006 PyroTube.com is open again! Flying Fish Fuse is in stock, check the fuse page. Obviously the site has a new design, look around. Some products are out of stock at the moment. All products that are on the website are in stock. I'm trying to rebuild my funds so bear with me if some products are out of stock a little longer than normal. I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words they've sent me, I appreciate it. I'm happy to be back, it's been a while. 6-13-2006 Things are kind of hectic now. Obviously it's the 4th of July season and I'm packing boxs like a maniac. Please bear with me if you send me an e-mail asking a question and it takes me a while to respond. If I don't respond to it within 24 hours, send it again please. Flying fish fuse should be in in about 2 weeks. That's all for now, I've got to keep packing. 5-27-2006 Fast visco is in stock and shipping. Chinese 1/8" visco is also back in stock. I will be getting flying fish fuse in 5 colors soon also. I wasn't able to buy the rocket tubes i wanted to get, they got put on the back burner....again. 4-9-2006 It's been a while since I've posted any news. And I've finally got some GOOD news. New products are being added, frequently, right now. Keep checking back. There will be couple NEW types of tubes, these will most likely be a get em while I have em deal and they will be a DEAL that will upset atleast a few people. I've also added a fuse page. 1/8" visco is OUT OF STOCK, I will be ordering more soon. I've also just added 1/16" fuse to the fuse page, grab it while I got it cause I ain't gettin it again. I've also added piezo poppers to the website again, they can be found on the ODDS N' ENDS page. Also, I've ordered 40 gauge nichrome wire, this will be the type of nichrome I will be stocking from now on. It's a little thinner than 36 gauge, which means it heats up a little quicker. The 4th of July is fast approaching and I am trying to cram as much stuff as the business can afford on the website, so like I said keep checking back. 2-1-2006 Well, the fun for me this past month (January) just hasn't stoped. From being in the hospital, to almost having my car towed an license revoked, to not having the truck start and of course who can forget yesterdays great day forgetting to appear for jury durty, which is going to be a nightmare to resolve and the many loooooooooong days of work, it's been a hoot. I guess my heart is still pumping and my brain is still functioning but tomorrow is a new day and all of that can change (usually I'm not pessimistic, maybe you can see why I am at the moment). There is some good news though. I have just sent all of my profits from December 9 2005 to January 31 2006 to the Fireworks Foundation and hopefully it will help fight and beat the CPSC. A bit of bad news though. I am stoping the "5+ feet of free nichrome wire" deal. I've had it for over a year and given away A LOT of it. There's really only for one reason I'm stoping it, it takes a lot of time to roll it, on top of the already long time to weigh, pack and ship each order. All of the free nichrome was rolled from what I call "reject" rolls of 100' nichrome wire. If I was rolling off 100' of nichrome and the 100' spool got screwed up in anyway (kink, wire came off the tube etc.) I would put it in the reject pile and roll the free nichrome off of those, removing any severely kinked/unuseable/tangled wire. From time to time, randomly, I will put either reject rolls of nichrome or 5+ feet of nichrome in an order. Other than all of that there isn't really anything "new" and I'm sure you're sick of reading my whining, so I'll end my rambling with this: Have a great day. 12-16-2005 This is a very busy time of the year for the USPS. Being that way I don't feel comfortable saying "orders placed by so and so date are guaranteed to be there before Christmas/Hanukah/New Years". Please keep this in mind when ordering. All orders recieved from the 22nd of December 2005 through the 5th of January 2006 will be shipped on the 6th of January 2006. Not for an update, but for a donation to the Firework Foundation Chemical Defense Fund. From today to January 31 2006 100% of profits will be given to the Chemical Defense Fund. I encourage all of my customers to also donate to the Chemical Defense Fund and I challenge my competitors to match me. I love this hobby like I love my country and I'm not willing to just give it away. We are rare, we are elite and we participate in the greatest hobby in the world, pyrotechnics. Mainly because I've been really busy with my "real job". Thanksgiving is coming up on Thursday, so obviously orders won't be shipped on that day. If you're wondering about the 1 3/4" long, 3/4" ID, 1/8" wall, glos red tubes, I havn't re-ordered them yet. The reason I havn't re-ordered them is I am considering ordering a type of tube for the website. The 1 3/4" long tubes will be re-ordered again however I am not certain at this moment when. 08-24-2005 I'm busy. For a "real job" I do electrical/contruction work. I am swamped with that. PyroTube.com has a good amount of orders coming in. I've always got something to do tomorrow. It's gross, it's like I'm married but I'm not. So, since it was recently my birthday (and I got a very nice birthday present), I'm going to...drum roll please...LAS VEGAS! Ahhh I can already hear the clinging of coins, smell of cheap perfume on hookers and my bank account emptying. Let's all hope and pray I don't bankrupt PyroTube while I'm there. I'll be gone from September 10 to September 18. Hot off the rollers and ready to be used. 08-05-2005 The 3 1/2" long tubes have been ordered again. They will be in in the next week or two. About the "new tube" mentioned in the last update, it looks like it won't be coming to fruition as soon as I had hoped. I am yet to find someone to sell it to me at a price that not only will I like but that you will like too. Obviously if I do find one they will be ordered and that will be posted immediately. 07-26-2005 I got a new computer, a nice one at that. The reason I got a new computer is because the old one died. So, if you have sent me an e-mail in the past 3 days and I have not responded to it, please send it again. All orders have been recieved and shipped per normal. In other news there is a new tube coming to PyroTube.com. Check back for it, it should be in within the next 3 weeks. 06-27-2005 So, it's almost the 4th of July, which is my favorite holiday/day of the year. I'd like to thank everyone that has been a customer. I truly appreciate it. It makes me happy to be an active member of the pyrotechnic community. It's nice to think at the end of the day that somewhere in this country and even the world, someone is making or lighting something with supplies they've bought from PyroTube.com. On July 17 this website and company will have been in business for 1 year. In this past year I have met, learned, talked to and had the pleasure of doing business with hundreds of new people. Gimme a couple days to take it off all the pages. 05-27-2005 Well, for a while now I havn't liked the shipping calculator that paypal has. I don't like charging you more money for shipping than it is and I don't like paying more for shipping than what you paid. So I have a new "piggy back" (as I call it) shopping cart. Shipping and handeling fees are dead on accurate now. It is 100% secure (your credit card does not go through it, credit card is still handeled with paypal) If you would like to know more about it please read the shipping page. 05-25-2005 New tubes have been ordered. They should be in in about 2 weeks. They'll be nice and cheap. That's all for now. 04-13-2005 Prices have been droped on 1/4"ID tubes, 1 3/4"long 3/4"ID 1/8"wall tubes, nichrome wire and LED Keychain Lights. In roughly 2 weeks I'll be ordering new tubes, including 9/16"ID, 1 1/2" long, 1/16" wall flat red tubes. Preitty much it for now, check back for new tubes. 02-18-2005 1/4" TUBES BACK IN STOCK! Get em while they're hot! Also, of late I've been getting more and more annoyed with eBay. I'm not sure if I am going to continue selling there or not. If I don't I'm going to go to overstock.com. eBay's soccer mommy nazi gestapo police are starting to wear thin on my nerves. 01-31-2005 3/4" endplugs are in. Check the the tubes page. I am out of stock on 1/4" tubes. More will be in by middle February. All orders with 1/4" tubes in them will not be shipped out until the new shipment gets in. 01-24-2005 I have just got 1/4" end plugs in stock, check the tubes page. 3/4" end plugs are on their way and should be on the website this weekend. Stock on 1/4" tubes is extremely low (slightly more than 1000), if they are sold out when you order I will send you an e-mail telling you that and either refund your money or hold it till the tubes are back in stock, whichever you prefer. I will be ordering more tomorrow or the day after, should be in in about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. From today through Friday I will not be around or shipping orders out, all orders received from today through Sunday will be shipped out the 31st of January. 01-12-2005 World wide shipping policy has changed, please see the shipping page. The reason it has changed is do to the new tubes much heavier weight and also their actual size. 01-01-2005 Happy New Year everyone! This has allowed not only the "visible" price of products to be lowered but also the overall price of your order. 11-08-2004: Well, I've been planing on having 1 3/4" long, 3/4" inside diameter, 1/8" wall, gloss red wrap tubes by December 1st. However do to my current financial situation it doesn't look like this will be happening. However I should be having these tubes, endplugs for them and endplugs for the 1/4" tube around the beggining of 2005. I'm not going out of business or anything silly like that, you can still order anything listed on the site, it's just going to be a little longer than I had hoped for the new tubes and endplugs.
